This trick looks super cool when performed in its final stage. You're friends won't expect it and
will be in awe. I remember the first time I saw someone do it in one of my classes when I was still a "green" trainer.
Everyone else in the room was as amazed as I was. LOL!
STEP 1. First, make sure you have a treat that very much peaks your dog's interest. This trick depends
on it. With your dog on your left side, take a large step with your right foot.
STEP 2. Command "Weave" and lure your dog under your leg with the treat.
STEP 3. When he is through, take a large step with your left leg and lure him under in the same manner.
STEP 4. In the beginning, you should reward quickly after the first two steps to help your dog understand
that he did what you wanted him to do. But you can extend the amount of steps as he becomes more confident.
(You should eventually phase out the food reward and have him doing the weave heel with a hand signal
and voice command. But don't go too quickly for him. Give him time to get used to it.)
