Doggie problems are abundant for everyone... even for folks who live and
breathe training. But with a little effort, you can cut your issues down to a
fraction of the frustration they'd normally cause you. The first thing you should
know is that training is something you must do with your dog from puppy months
to their final months of life. However, if you integrate it into your daily routine,
it will become more of a natural habit rather than a chore. Also, you should know
that training provides structure and a meaning of life for your dog, which keeps
him or her happy and out of trouble! Eh-hem... *points to picture below*
A little about the author of the Pup Pages... My name is Tamara. At one time, I was a security police K-9 handler in the US Air Force.
But now I help military families to train their dogs using basic commands, gentle luring and a little dog psychology.
I don't claim to be an expert or all-knowing in every aspect of dogs and training, but I have
learned a trick or two during my doggie career, and I'm more than happy to share with you. I hope
my experience can help you figure out what will work best for you and your dog. =)

I'd like to take this opportunity to mention a special training aid that I have found to be quite
enlightening. I was originally trained by the military and by another veteran dog trainer, but I have to say, my classes were
enriched so much more dramatically when I began paying attention to Caesar Millan, The Dog Whisperer. I highly
recommend him to all dog owners.
If you are serious about having better knowledge and control regarding your dog, The
Dog Whisperer is a must see. I recommend you check Amazon.com first because their prices are generally good. But
believe me, if you are having issues
with your furry pal, Caesar Millan will most likely have an answer for you.
